Before working with Dev it was our belief that we could get our son to the required levels needed for the 11+. Thankfully we realised in time that we were not fully equipped for the task. A level Mathematics

Dev helped my son achieve a C in his Maths A Level (AS), after my son was graded a U in his mock exam a few weeks earlier.

Dev, I waited until we received the offer, felt that this would only be fair.

Dev started tutoring my daughter last year, as parents I was quite concerned that we had left it too late to prepare my daughter for 11+ Maths. Despite our concerns, we were all able to to work with Dev to identify areas that my daughter need further learning on. Dev worked with Iqra on a different topic every week and thoroughly went through maths work with her.

Dev was patient, warm and friendly in his teaching manner. He was considerate in listening to our views and took them on board. Dev is very knowledgable in his subjects and teaches them well.

My daughter has been offered a place at one independent schools to which is she happy about!

My daughter says “Thank you for all your help and teaching me maths, it has benefited me greatly and it has increased my confidence in the subject”.

I would give Dev the rate of 5 as he’s kind with kids and he also likes to understand children by communicating with parents. My kid had a few lessons with him and we are happy so far.

Well, where do I start? I panicked in December as my child was struggling with his maths on past papers he was averaging 35% to 40%. I contacted Dev who was very polite and agreed to assist with no guarantees but said he will do his best to bring the marks up.

Dev gave up a lot of his time and was spending an evening or maybe 2 a week and weekends with a lot of patience went through all the gaps in my child’s maths and within a few solid weeks the marks were at over 50% which is phenomenal. Other tutors had said there was no hope my child passing the entrance exams because of the tough competition and limited places.

As the exams approached in January that is 1 month of solid tutoring my child was achieving over 60% that was a remarkable turnaround. Suddenly the child enjoyed maths and the attention to detail shown by Dev was second to none.

I waited till the results were out before I gave Dev a review as I think its only fair to give an accurate review at a time when a schools marks a maths paper and to my astonishment, my child has been offered 3 places in top private schools. In one of the schools, he scored 76% in maths.

Great work Dev can’t thank you enough this was a journey we all went through including the tutor and i am so happy that I chose the right tutor.
